In defense of Paul and Gabriel

Now that Gabriel and Paul have reminded me of how partial George has
been to the Realist 5P, I can understand what's behind the smileys in
their posts. They are right about how, in general, he has expressed
his preference for the Realist by emphasizing its benefits while
emphasizing the limitations of other formats. The things Dr. T. says
are true, but healthily oppinionated.  (there are two kinds of people;
those who think there are two kinds of people, and those who don't)
Some people weren't raised with a lot of razzing (I wasn't), and it
takes awhile to recognize and appreciate (as I do now, thanx) that the
rumblings in the gallery were just good natured razzing.

I appologize if I impugned the motives of Dr. T's well intentioned
hecklers.

PS.I mounted some Nimslos I had taken in the summer and want to recant.
My best Nimslo shots were just as in focus as my best Realist shots.
I am, however, comparing bright daylight shots with the Nimslo, to
overcast hazy day shots with the Realist.
I can't wait to try some sunny day tripod shots and some time exposure
city-scape shots of Seattle with my Realist.
