Paul Talbot writes he remembers awhile back where someone had posted
a long post twice. I remember that post also and found it kind of
annoying also. More annoying than some of the stuff posted by some
others and that includes myself! As for the concern Paul voices
regarding abusive posts to sell-3D, they do mention that such
tactics are not allowed. I have taken the liberty to post what
they say in sell-3D regarding that. I hope the moderators don't mind
me cluttering up P3D for this. I think it is interesting reading for
people thinking of joining sell-3D and doing this specific kind of think
that Paul brings up which I wouldn't like to see also.

Commercial advertisements are permitted.

Long postings, for example a list with 100 items for sale, are 
discouraged. We recommend that instead you post a short message like:

   100 Stereo items for sale - cameras, viewers, much more! Send
   email to buyem@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx for a complete list!

This is not the place to post 3D computer images; many subscribers cannot 
afford to receive messages that large.  

This is not the place for discussions of 3D - postings should be limited
to "For Sale" and "Wanted" items. We recommend you preface your "Subject:"
line with one of the following:

      "FS:"   (For Sale) 
      "WTB:"  (Wanted To Buy) 
      "SOLD:" (To inform the list that an item has been sold)

to help people scan the list postings more quickly. Examples:

      FS: Kodak Stereo camera
      WTB: Images of West Virginia


If you are interested in an item, reply DIRECTLY to that person via
private email - NOT through the list. This list is not the place for
bidding or making offers on equipment posted.

Frequent, repetitive postings are discouraged.
