Realist timed cable release

Is a cable release for a Realist (3.5) very special
or is it somewhat standard and still available.
A mechanical timed release would be useful to me,
although when I pointed out the hole in my Realist
near the shutter to my local camera store, they said
that I had a screw missing (very observant) and knew
of no such release to fit in it.
