Exhibit info part III of III

part III:
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK
Submissions must be received no later than April.30, 1997 and meet the
following requirements:
1. I cannot be held responsible for handling one-of-a-kind images. Please
make faithful duplicates and send those. To speed up the process, if your
work is accepted these duplicates will be what is shown in the exhibit.
Slides will be continuously backlit for the entire duration and will most
likely fade to a very small degree. This is why I'd rather only handle
duplicates. Other formats will be lit and handled to museum standards.
2. Slide formats must fit into the standard 'realist' length Reel-3D viewer
unless previous arrangements are made to present other formats. If this is
the case, the artist is responsible for supplying an adequate viewing system
for the duration of the exhibit. Please do not send any large viewers, etc
until I have confirmed that your image has been selected.
In the case of other formats, please do not send any really large items without
prior arrangements being made.
3. Send a maximum of four images. Each selected artist will be represented by
one image in the exhibit.

4. Each image must be include your name, image title, and date on the back for
easy identification.
5. Include a very brief biography (such as your main interest in 3D and
prefered techniques), your complete return mailing address and phone number.
6. Please include return postage with your submission. Artists not chosen
will have their work mailed the first week of July. Artists chosen will
have their work mailed the first week of August. I must stress that I am
not making any money on this exhibit and all expenses are my own.
7.Mail your submission to:

LEGAL GOBBLY-GOOP
As far as I know at this point ALL artwork will be insured against damage
or loss while on display in the museum (will know for sure in a
couple of days). However, I cannot be responsible for any (unintentional
...believe me!) damage or loss of artwork while in my personal possession.
Mailed packages will be insured if arranged in advance.
A PLEA FOR YOUR HELP!
(catchy title, huh?) This is a plea to anyone who would be able to loan
1,2, or more of those Reel-3D plastic viewers from April.30 to the first
week of August. Please let me know if this is possible. I'd also like to
hear from anyone who thinks I've overlooked something major in developing
this exhibition!
IN CLOSING...
I hope this exhibit will generate a lot of excitement both with the artists
submitting and the viewing public. The Sooke Regional Museum is an excellent
venue for exposing your work to a large, diverse audience (especially
during the Summer tourist season!) and 3D photography is a very 'new' subject
for this area.
So get crackin' and send me some great art!
Thanks for your interest...
