Breaking in to P3d gently

For those leery of recommending P3D to 3d newbies, over volume concerns.
how about:

   a) 3d Tip of the Day, a non-interactive forum. I know about the
   weakness of a non-interactive forum, but this is to get their feet wet.

   b) Supplemental to or in lieu of a), a P3d FAQ/Tips auto-responder.
   Create an index of topics, newbie sends Topic ID to the list server,
   receives back relevant subject matter.
