What to do with the slides Dr. T?? All from about 1940
or 50. Some earlier slides made from some
Keystone-Mast negatives. Eventually look them all over,
take apart the crap and use the materials. Put them into
subject groups, whatever. They were almost free,
anyway. Allot are in glass and heavy metal frames or
Emde Frames, or taped. Remember the old Eastman
Kodak colored cloth tape? Awful stuff, that tape.
All are Kodachrome slides and show interesting
historical sights. The series on the Sphinx (is that a
correct spelling) from about 1936 or so show the
monument in very good condition when compared to
the wind worn one we see now.
Some show antique cars and planes, some show
antique people and some are utter crap. I found an
interesting series showing Harold Lloyd. Did you know
he was a rather good stereo photographer? Have some
interesting shots of his Christmas tree, stays up all yes,
decorations from around the world.
Bye.
