|engine but didn't happen to use the right search words.  If there
|were a list of Topics with guaranteed results, those without WEB
|access and those who don't know enough about 3D to know what to 
|search for would get on their stereo feet more easily.

That's an interesting suggestion. I have some grad students looking
for a project this semster. Perhaps I can come up with some kind of
abstracting program which will scan thru the archives and give a suggested
list of search words, based on frequency of occurrence or something
similar.
