comet pictures

While looking around the net tonight to see what's up with
Hale-Bopp comet-wise, I ran across a couple of interesting
pictures for those of you with good monitors and some
anaglyph glasses. 

One is a color picture of Haley (10 years ago!) which shows a rather
strong depth relationship to the background stars (at least to my eyes).

A second one show Comet Hyakutake which seems to present a smear which
indicates great speed.

Neither of these situations are actually true, but the images are
interesting, none the less ...

(Parenthetical aside - Hale - Bopp is looking better, brightness 
wise - but it's going to require getting up before sunrise to see
- OUCH! says the late night programmer :-)
