OK OK, I promise this will be my last comments on the sphinx affair.
It is related to 3D though, since it has to do with a stereo-pair
and a certain 3D celebrity.

Yourr-ghos <-(George in Greek) Themelis claims he has not been to
Egypt. I beg to differ. George, who is that person holding a 
Realist on the right of the stereo pair? It certainly isn't me!
As to the gender of the Sphinx, I will have to disagree with both
you, even though you HAVE BEEN THERE ;-) and the people that have
emailed me offlist. To make it short, in Greek mythology, it had
the head and bust of a woman. But in Egyptian times it represented
the form of a recumbent lion having a man's head.
