When I offered the referenced slides on SELL 3-D, I was somewhat amazed
at the number of responses. I thought to myself, why would anybody want
a bunch of old stereo slides of people they don't know? I could understand
if there were slides of old cars, but these slides are mostly just people
(although they do wear funny clothes, have funny hair, and almost everyone
is smoking a cigarette). Anyway, these slides were simply of no interest
to me. What I learned however is that there is probably someone out
there who wants just about ANY old stereo slides. The worth would
depend on both the seller and the buyer. I was going to throw these slides
away if I couldn't find anyone who wanted them, so I offered them for
shipping cost only. So, if you've got some slides to get rid of, posting
it on SELL 3-D is a quick way to finding them a new home.
