Elliot,

I dont understand why I couldn't carefully compose the setup of my picture
(using THE equation, B = d*(f*(an+af)-2*an*af)/(2*f*(an-af))) which I've
solved for "af", given a fixed "B") to match the lens separation of the
Nimslo. The only thing I would need to know to let me use this equation
with the Nimslo is, "Which pairs of images will my eyes see in their eight
picture lent?".
For example, if I will see image 1 and 5, 2 and 6, 3 and 7, and 4 and 8, as
I move my head from left to right, I would set "B" to equal 74.8mm (four
times the individual lens separation of 18.7mm) and "an" to equal whatever
my closest object distance is, say 6 ft. Then according to THE equation,
my "af" would be about 31 feet, and the best focus point would be
2*AN*AF/(an + af) or 10 feet, which is where the Nimslo is fix-focused.

Wouldn't that work?

Grant
