This is the first I've heard of it, but it looks interesting. 
The only potential questions I'd have right offhand is 
1. What is the optical resolution vs the interpolated resolution? and
2. It connects via a parallel port - potential speed considerations...

But if anyone has actually seen/used one, I'd be interested in a review.
