Shooting candids

In L.A., you're more likely to have another problem. I'll always remember a
camera class I had in college. The instructor took us out to a park and we
spent the afternoon setting up and shooting in various lighting situations.
Several of us became aware of one disreputable-looking bum in the park who
kept maneuvering himself into the background of most of our shots. As we
wrapped up, he finally approached us with his SAG card (Screen Actors
Guild), expecting a day's pay at union scale for his "work."
