Hey buddy, talk about _your_ basement.  Because _my_ basement has a
smaller fluctuation in temperature and humidity than my living room.
In particular, it is considerably cooler and less humid in the summer.
Perfect place to store my stereo slides and 3d gear.  This also my
computer workstation, office and stereo projection room.  Also,
workshop, library and 3d museum.  In short, I've taken it over and 
my wife does not object!
