Hey, gotta agree with Dr. T and several others on the list: I too will
probably collect a set of all available 3Discover cassettes (or at least all
the ones that don't sound totally boring), and probably an extra viewer or
two, as no one knows what the lifespan of one will be, and I don't think
there's a local repair shop for them. This could definitely be the
View-Master of the '90s... but I sure wish they'd sell a system where you can
make your own. Maryann and Wolfgang: Please put me on your sale list, as I
suspect you will be more reliable than the manufacturer in getting cassettes
in the mail -- not to mention cheaper. (And yes, I was stupid not to think of
the obvious reason why a manufacturer would sell its product for more than a
regular retailer.)

On another subject, Eric G. may very well be right about lawsuits where
people who make a lot of money with a photograph are sued by the pic's
subject. However, newspaperd do not commonly get model releases, though we at
our magazine do because most of the images are used for commercial non-news
purposes. However, it's unlikely that a photo that doesn't get famous will
engender a lawsuit, and I do not think it's immoral to take someone's photo
without their permission.
