Don't be concerned... Realists are known to survive natural disasters,
including earthquakes, fires, floods, drops from hills, running over by
cars, also nuclear holocausts, etc... ;)

That's true for most cameras, but the Realist is in a class by itself. 
There are no electrical circuits.  A quick bath in fresh (distilled, if
possible) water and careful drying with some TLC will bring the Realist
back to normal operating condition.

Photographers die... Realists just get passed from generation to
generation...

George Themelis, owner of the first commercial 7P Realist, seller of
reconditioned Stereo Realist cameras and other fine stereo equipment... ;)
