I keep trying to send this to Tanya, but its not making it through.

Perhaps it will help someone else on the list too.

The camera that you saw is called a lenticular camera. The type
you looked at is also for sale at:

It, like any stereo camera can be used with print film, but the stereo
effect is not as good because the outer lenses are not far enough apart
(hyperstereo), and the lenses are not top notch, thus diminishing the
stereo effect.

I have a Nimslo which has four high quality glass lenses, taking four
half frame (four perf) images on 35mm film. It was my first stereo camera
because it is fixed focus, and auto-exposure, a true point and shoot stereo
camera. They only made them for a few years in the '70s. I used it with
slide film and only used the outer film chips. I haven't yet had
lenticular prints made.

No, I'm not a member of NSA or ISU, but am a member of my local stereo
camera club. I do plan on joining the NSA because of their magazine, and
because I will be volunteering at their '97 convention in Washington:)
