What is this for: Stereo Realist Glass?

I just bought 40 pieces of glass that was in a green and
tan stereo Realist box.  It looked like the glass would be
the right size, but the glass is 26.4mm by 88.4mm.  What is 
this for?  

I'd appreciate any help.
