  Me too.

The Don Lopp waterfall shots and Joel's single camera hypers
were awesome. Don isn't E-connected but Joel is.

Tell us what you have. I have some detailed text and a
scanned drawing of mine I could send you. I won't burden
P3d with it since I think I posted it a long time ago. Sam's
web page has plans for his viewer.

I think there is a tendancy for these discussions to go private,
once detailed construction issues and images are being transferred.
Probably good for keeping photo3d from being too busy, but does
keep us MFers low profile.

>Let's hear from a few of you about picture taking challenges and tips.

There are many topics. Single camera on slidebar, twin cameras,
siamesed cameras, and real stereo cameras. They all have different
challenges. Which topic would you like to discuss?

>And problems with viewer construction.

I built my fixed focus/ fixed interocular spacing viewer
quite easily using thick sides (with routered grooves) and
thin plywood top and bottom. I routered grooves to hold the
plexiglas diffuser, the slide, and other pieces. Later I
build an add-on light box that has two of George's frosted
halogen bulbs (one behind each film chip). The bulbs are
wired in series and are powered by an external 4 C-cell nicad
pack (keeps the weigh down on the viewer).

  All that was pretty easy.

For my final viewer I would like focusing (so I can view
without my glasses) and possibly interocular adjustment.
I would like to keep my removable light box method and
keep the height of the viewer as low as possible. I haven't
yet figured out a way to do the focusing that I am happy with.

More details if anyone is interested. I've already discussed
many of these issues with the big 6 MFers that Sam listed.

Regards - Greg
