RE: Not take 3-D pictures???

Take the camera, and a monopod at least. You might get some
overcast and rainy days, and ASA 100 will make for some long
exposures.

Carry the camera but only take 3D shots when they jump out
at you. For the most part, don't take time to set up a shot,
just take snap-shots, (pick good average camera settings for the
day). Spend most of your thoughts enjoying the people you are
with.

I don't know of any one on their death-bed saying "I
wish I had taken more 3-D pictures while on that trip!", they
usually say something like, "I wish I had gotten to know my
wife better!", or "I wish I had spent more time enjoying my
kids, while they had the time!", or "I've got tons of great
slides of people who don't like me any more."

My two pence worth.
