Is yours on a Web page?

I'd consider at least the twin and "siamesed" to be "real stereo cameras"
as well. How about calling the 1950's models, FED, etc. "dedicated stereo
cameras"? :-)

On the topic of the dangers of 3D photography, the flip side of the coin is
the intimidation factor of stereo equipment. When I use a Realist or twin
X-700s on a 6-inch bar, the effect is relatively minor - some people will
ask about the camera, others appear interested but uneasy about asking,
and some just glare and avoid the camera. When I use twin cameras on a
2-foot bar for hyperstereo, a significant number of people in the area seem
ill at ease, and hardly anyone asks about it. When I use a 4-foot
hyperstereo bar, especially with a tripod, most everybody keeps a safe
distance away, except for little kids, whose fearful mothers snatch them
away and ask me to forgive them for bothering me [yes, that's really happened].

I suppose the effect is useful in marginal situations where a 2D camera
might be stolen, but I consider it puzzling. Any speculation on the causes
of stereophobia?
