Good for you Eric! But for the rest of us who are stuck with cameras that
are soft at wide apertures, there is still hope! It is called a "tripod".
The only camera I have trusted at 2.8 aperture was the RBT S1 (when I was
testing it) with autofocus ON. A tripod or a monopod would have allowed me
to use smaller apertures. I don't think many people would use 2.8 aperture
in a stereo camera for reasons other than having no choice.
I love my little fuzzball which gives me incredibly sharp pictures at f8
and f11, is in excellent mechanical condition and "takes a beating and
keeps on clicking!" And now, with 7p, it is even better!
