I would like to know if anything like this is also available. Or
failing that what I would like to know is the speeds on the FED
in auto-mode. Supposedly in the auto-mode the camera adjusts the
aperture and speed accordingly. I have a sneaking suspicion that
it only changes the aperture and the speed stays constant. The
specs claim that the speed goes up to 1/650 but it sure doesn't
look like it when I eyeball the thing. Anyone know if this is true.
Secondly even though I find this camera to be adequate with good
imaging I was surprised to learn that there is no thru the lens
focussing or rangefinder (like the other medmium format camera?).
Another aspect that was mentioned here on P3D numerous times was
that the photocell measured the light levels and that the camera
had a meter. This I thought meant it had a light meter that can be
read by the operator. This is not the case but rather the "meter"
is more likely a needle internally that sets the aperture and/or
speed.
