Hi ya all..
(1)
First this MF3D discussion thread thats been going on is brilliant, as I'd
decided I wanted to get into MF3D about a week before the discussion started..
does any one have any views as to which has better optics a siamised lubitel
system or a Sputnick system. I was going for a lubitel system but after
reading Sam Smiths Web page on modifying the Sputnick I'm unsure now. The
advantage of the Sputnick, to me, is that its smaller/compact compared to a
twinned/siamised lubitel system. Are there any other MF3D cameras available ?

For the last 3 months I've been trying to take apart a Minolta lense (for my
35mm SLR), with the view to building an anaglyphic lense for it. Well I've
eventually managed to get down to the diaphram but am wondering what colour
filter to use.
I know that basically it is Red on left and either GREEN, BLUE or CYAN on the
right, but what are the various pros and cons of each colour. I believe that
CYAN is better for colour anaglyphs.. is it ? I've noticed that , for me at
least, BLUE makes the image look darker than Green. Of the two I prefer to
look at anaglyphs with RED/GREEN glasses,I haven't got any Cyan glasses so I
don't know what these are like.
Are there any problems creating an anglyph using Red/Cyan and then viewing
with Red & Blue/Green glasses ?
Did anyone ever put together an SL3D FAQ ?
