Clever idea! But why twin rig? A single camera will do the same if you

shift a bit between exposures. It might be even better since the 6"
minimum separation in my twin SLR rig is useless for this situation.

So, in this case, if you are sitting in the left slide of the plane, shoot
the left picture first, or in the right side shoot the right picture first.

Clever, huh?

WELL... The account that I have read says "Do not put film in your
luggage because it will be blasted with x-rays of much higher intensity
than the ones used for the hand bags". Also, they recommend not to leave
valuables in your luggage. I have left unexposed film with no obvious
ill-effects. But I usually carry the exposed film and my valuable gear
with me on the plane. For one thing, I need my cameras to take pictures
from inside the plane and also in the airport. This last practice is,
again, against the advise of "alarmist" regarding potential risks with
safety and antiterrorist regulations, etc. This has not been a problem
in the airports that I frequent (US, Copenhagen, Athens, etc.) I just
love to take stereo pictures of HUGE planes and then try to mount them
so that their nose sticks out of the stereo window!!!
