Mike Sherer asks:

>How about you tell us why you like Fujichrome (Sensia 100?) so much.

You gave the answer Mike:

"I personally think that since it has an accurate color palette and
razor-sharpness it is an excellent film for realistic pictures in 3D."

I can spot Kodachrome from a mile away from its tendency to "go blue or
purple". I have tried both films (yes, I lied, I have used plenty of
Kodachrome) and I NOW prefer Fujichrome Sensia 100. I like the colors
better and it is sufficiently sharp. I have pictures comparing Kodachrome
64 vs. Sensia 100 and the colors in Sensia appear more realistic.
Especially pictures of people are much better in Sensia 100 than
Kodachrome, IMO (skins tend to be too green in Kodachrome). While Velvia
is very "smooth", it has more contrast than I can handle and tends to
produce unrealistically vivid colors under certain lighting conditions.
But, not Sensia 100.

These are just casual personal observations, not necessarily supported from
published reviews. Remember, I am an amateur, not a professional. I have
found a film that I like and I am using it without worrying if my choice is
the BEST. I just think it is a good choice.

Sensia's convenient E6 processing and convenient 100 ASA speed (compared to
Slowchrome 25) and low price (about $3.50 currently per 36 exp. roll at
B&H) is the added bonus that compensates for Kodachrome's longer lasting
life, for me.

Again, these are only personal opinions. I don't feel strongly about them
and would be willing to "change my mind" as I frequently do, under the
"weight of the evidence". You have seen or will see my slides in Detroit.
All shot with Sensia 100. I have not seen your Kodachrome slides. So,
bring your best chromes in Detroit next month and try to change my mind!!!

PS. Does anyone use Fujichrome in their Kodak stereo camera??? ;)
