Dr. T. likes to simplify things for the beginner, which is in line
with his efforts to get more people involved with 3D photography without
burdening them with excessive detail. All well-and-good.

However, this list is not JUST for beginners, and when I respond to
questions I try to keep in mind that this list is archived, and searchable.
You may not be interested in the complete details when you ask a simple,
beginner's question, but I refuse to censor myself to a beginner's level,
because other subscribers may very well BE interested. Besides, if
everyone only ever gave the simple, direct answer to the question asked,
how would you ever discover there was more information to be had?

Even a beginner may quickly find that the additional information soon
becomes understandable and useful to them, and if not, so be it.
