The problem may be cleared up by now so you can also try it the
standard way:
Send mail to 
listserv@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
and in the body of the message put
subscribe tech-3d your name

And as long as we are on the subject of tech-3d, due to job load
I am finding it increasingly hard to keep up with P3D.  So if any
of you has asked a question of me specifically and not gotten an
answer (and _still_ wants me to answer 8-), writ me directly or
pose the question on T3D which has low enough traffic that I can
keep up.  I sure miss reading P3D as often as I used to - there are
quite a few pearls in here.
