Wow there sure was alot of talk on the Nishika these past few digests.
I got more enjoyment from the discussion on P3D regarding the Nishika
than from the test roll I took with it. Now who says the Nishika isn't
a conversation piece! ;-)
On a more serious note unless someone is going to make lenticulars with
these cameras, the quality of th Loreo or Argus is one step above from
the Nishika. So for a few bucks more it's a much better deal.
Regarding the Image Tech (single-use) the quality is on par to the
Nishika IMO but there is another one I have seen (not the pictures taken
with it) called 3D Wizard Lenticular Camera also by Image Tech. The specs
mention, 3 coated glass f/4.5 lenses, adjustable aperture and built-in
flash. It would seem that this one might be on par to the Nimslo, but of
course has only 3 lenses as opposed to 4 with the Nimslo. Any one ever
try it? It is available from Rocky Mountain Memories. The price is $79.95
and can be seen on Joel Alpers site at
http://www.frii.com/~rkymtmem/cameras/image.tech.html
P.S. Wouldn't the metal plate inside (Nishika) be considered a concealed
weapon?
Gabriel
