TDC 116 Advice

Please help, folks:

I found a TDC 116 projector to look at tomorrow not too far from here. I
guess I would like some pointers about what to look for. The fellow who has
it is not a stereographer but rather an antique dealer (he has a regular
shop in San Antonio) who says he is selling it for a friend. The asking
price is $300 with a fair ("tatty") case but with two spare lamps. Condition
is claimed to be good. He doesn't know if it will project 7p. Question: How
do I tell? He says its all there and ready to go.
