If you find such a source Elliott, me and my dozen or so viewers who are
missing such adapter would like to know about it.  Missing DC adapter
is a common problem and it is due partially to having Realist green 
button viewers sold (for less) without it and partially to getting
misplaced or thrown away.

In my Realist green button book I present an alternative to the DC adapter
using parts from Radio Shack.  The alternative is clever and works well
using the same switch.  However, going from DC to AC it is a little
bit more work than just taking off the "DC adapter" and slipping in the 
AC adapter.

BTW, FYI, the electrical circuit of this viewer is such that the AC and
DC modes are electrically isolated from each other.  This means that
you can leave the batteries inside the viewer when you switch from AC
to DC.
