Is it not bothering you, then don't worry. If it is bothering you then I
recommend replacing the lenses with a set of Revere lenses. Bubbles and
haze between the elements are rather common in the Realist viewer. At
small amounts they are not noticeable. One could try and take apart the
two elements and reglue them but I am not ready to do that.

Turning the viewer brightness down will help you identify the images that
lose impact under less bright light. I do not think I have enough
experience to identify with confidence good or bad projection slides based
solely on how they look in the viewer. I still need to project them.
Apart from the brightness difference there are a few other factors, like
image size & stretch (images look smaller in projector when sitting far
away from the screen and details are unnoticeable) and ghosting that affect
how images look in the screen vs. the viewer.
