The following commentary was posted in Sell-3d with a sell ad for the
cutter:

Not true!  You can cut your film using any cutter.  The Realist cutter 
is based on perforations and it might be useful if your mounting system
is based on perforations or the exact location of the chips is important.  
I used a Realist cutter but sold it for the $$$ to go back to my Reel 3-D 
cutter which cuts as fast and as efficiently for me.
