2-D to 3-D Conversions

I sure would like to know what computer program or application was used to
make those 2-D to 3-D conversions on the release of the STAR WARS lenticular
trading cards. Must be the same kind of program (or even the very same
program) that TYCO used to convert the images for their release of the
"Batman Forever" reels. (According to my sources, Tyco was supposed to do a
"live" shoot on the set but wasn't allowed at the last minute, so they
converted 2-D to 3-D using some kind of advanced computer technology. In
fact, when I produced the Branson, Missouri View-Master reels, there was one
image considered of the Branson Belle Showboat which was flat. The people
at View-Master suggested a conversion of that image. Their "Batman Forever"
conversion was very well done in my opinion.) I've tried to ask Bob Mannie
at New VIsion Technology (located online at
http://www.3d-web.com/nvt/2dto3d.htm) about what conversion program they
used without getting a response. Could be they are using an "exclusive"
technology they developed but I am interested in producing stuff for my own
enjoyment and not to go "commercial." There are some people who have
"passed on" who I would like to have had 3-D images of, and 2-D to 3-D
conversion would seem to be the answer. Photo 3-D readers might want to
visit the New Vision Technology site. I was impressed with some of the
samples they had online in three formats, "cross eyes, anaglyph and parallel
viewing." Anyone have any leads on such a computer application available to
the general public, what its name is, and where to obtain it?
thanks
