Sorry to be so late in responding, but have been out to town.  By Fuji I
meant the Pictography printers, which use type C materials.

We have found that normally UV laminated dye subs (Seal lamination) fade
more quickly than unlaminated ones.  I don't know about the new Kodak
coating, but the general problem is all visible light and not just UV
light.  

Of course, in the advertising business having your comps self destruct
after a while can be a good thing :)

As to why the things fade even in the dark, I don't know.  But I have
used these printers for years and the cyan just seems to evaporate, even
in storage.
