You bet.  Has to do with marketing.  As Eric Drysdale has noted, the "man
on the street" is likely to make associations like:

>"So, is each of those lenses for one of the dimensions?"

When I explain that my Realist takes 3DDDimensional photos, I've had the
question asked in a different form:  "Oh, so is that why it has three
lenses?"  Four lenses in  a 3D camera probably causes confusion to the
public, but three is readily accepted, so more easily sold.  ;)
