We run into terminology ambiguities here...

For instance, when you speak of contrast, do you mean apparent contrast
(as in accutance or "snap")? Is film latitude the dynamic range of the
film? Or, is it the "headroom" of the emulsion beyond a certain dynamic
range (ie 6 f/stops)?
