Best stuff I've found is for sealing little non-heat cardboard mounts and
also Q-Vue mounts is:
Aleene's Original "Tacky Glue"
All craft stores around here carry it (even Fred Meyer)-- it's in a small
gold cylindrical bottle. Be sparing-- you'll ooze some on to the slide
despite the high viscocity if you slosh it on like you were joining 2x4
lumber. Best to rub the mount-- rubbing away from the window, of course--
with a plastic book mender's bone (used to be actual polished bone, but
now plastic) available at bookbinder supply houses. Try cruising the
internet for the last item, or just kill something and make one yourself.
The glue dries colorless and flexible. And from the printed label it
states, "Glues odd items to odd surfaces."
I guess 3D qualifies as odd. :)
