splicing slides for 3Discover?

Would it be possible to splice your Realist or full frame slide chips
together so they would run through a 3Discover? I know you'd have to
use black film as spacers, but would the sprockets line up? How neat
and clean can a splice be? Could you adjust your realist or Kodak etc.
so that the sprockets will line up?
Why worry about having a camera that will take pictures for the 3Discover
if you could splice your own 4P, 5P or 7P slides together? Maybe Wrebbit
could provide a splicing service for those who have a Realist mounted slides.

I can see it now . . .
In P3d, instead of just asking questions about heat seals and RBT mounts,
we will be buying empty cartridges from Wrebbit and asking questions about
which splicer is the best, and splicing alignment guages, and having splicing
contests while consuming adult beverages. Can you imagine that an empty
cartridge could be purchased for, say the cost of 12 heat seal mounts?

PS: If someone does start up a splicing service, I want royalties:)
