Rubber Cement as a Stereo Card Mounting Medium

PD3 Chuck Field asked what is going to happen to the stereo cards that I
mounted using rubber cement?
        The images will probably appear stained at some point in time and
then they will loosen from the mount.  This won't happen overnight, but
you can depend on it happening in the not to distant future.  I think A
LOT of folks try rubber cement because it is so easy, but it is more
trouble than it is worth. Many stereo card makers use dry mount tissue. 
It is necessary to have a dry mount press and a household iron will work
just fine if you are careful
