NSA travel update

There is an airfare special on now. There *may* be good deals to Seattle
now, but the fare from Cincinatti is still around $300 (that's the problem
with one airline dominating a market like Delta does there) and from Austin
it is only down to $276 (much better than the $348 of a couple weeks ago,
but still high by historical standards.)
East Coasters may have better luck. I just read that there are trans-
continental fares as low as $198, but I have not yet checked to see if
such a fare is available into Seattle.
If you will be traveling with kids, many airlines are offering significant
companion fare discounts for children (but be sure to compare two "best
fares" to adult with child companion; a favorite airline trick is to make
you pay a higher price to qualify for a reduced companion fare.)
Also, Delta has a $99 companion fare offer for American Express customers,
so if you are traveling with a spouse/friend (or can arrange to travel
with another local stereo enthusiast), be sure to look into that offer.
Bon Voyage,
Paul Talbot, your P3D travel advisor
