Kodak's Ektachrome I.R.

In a previous issue some one asked about using Kodak's Ektachrome
InfraRed for 3D. Several filters will give good results, but I found the
Orange created the most interesting (i.e. far-out) effect, although green
or yellow can also be used. As to processing, the film has to be sent to:
Rocky Mt. Film Lab, 560 Geneva St., Aurora, CO 80010
(They charge about $20, but you can phone to find out ---
1/303-339-6444.) For Realist slides, you must make sure
they do not cut or mount them! Perhaps the charge would be
less to just leave the film uncut and wound on a cardboard roll.
However, since the Realist does not have those color filters, unless
you can improvise, your best bet would be to do the "weight shift"
or slide bar method using your regular 35mm camera with the
correct filters! Good luck! Might I add: "you'll need it!"
