Tru Vue

Remember the thread we had a month or so ago about getting spouces
interested in the hobby? Well, yesterday was my wife's b'day, and as one
of her presents, I got her some Tru Vue stuff from Harry Poster.

She loved it!!

In general, she isn't thrilled with stereo stuff because of having to
load slides individually, lack of a good labeling system, some like View
Master and viewcards suffer from poor resolution or small image size,
and finding interesting subject matter is always a challange. She felt
the Tru Vue had none of these shortcomings... nice big viewing area,
verticle alignment is assured, window placement is usually good,
captioning is convenient, 15 shots per strip viewing, the stuff is old
enough to be of historic and artistic interest (the B/W photography
appealed to her!), she loved the styling of the viewers, and finds the
rolls themselves to be compact and easy to handle with good stereo
effect.

This is my first experience with the system as well, and while I too
enjoyed viewing it, seeing her get into it made it all that much better.
For anyone who hasn't had a chance to check it out I'd recommend it...

Eric G.
