I should have thought of that as I had some old Franka stuff around but had
forgotted about it. I tried and the problem is that the slide frame is about
2.08" in height. This is too much to cram through the TDC 116 carrier as it
stands. It has an upper spring to hold the slides in place and I suppose
that it could be modified. Perhaps even remove the spring to give the
necessary clearance.
