I'd like to get a copy of the article, but an SASE is a bit of a problem
for us Canuks. It is the stamp part that's the hassle. I know it is a
pain for you, but if I can find $1 US (or whatever it costs) and enclose
it, could you find it in your heart to get a stamp for me?

I will also need to know your address :-)

Some time ago, you asked me where I was going to start in 3D. Well,
health and finances have not been kindly lately, so instead of going
digital, I have decided to go for holmes cards. They have always held a
romantic appeal for me, plus they will be inexpensive. I already have a
holmes viewer (my great-grandfather's), and a functioning 35 mm SLR
(manual) camera. I will need a slide bar, but I plan to build one based
on a sliding rail assembly which uses preloaded ballbearings for a
smooth movement. My tripod will be a bit flimsy, but I think I can just
using the timer or a cable release since I will be only shooting still
life.

Somewhat limiting, but a whole lot better than nothing.

Should I somehow take a photo worthy of display, well scanning and
printing services are always getting cheaper. I'll worry about it then.

Regards,
John
