Sounds like a credible and certainly inexpensive and readily available
solution to me!

A good source of info for those who really want flat black anything
regard;less of price and convenience is to check with any amateur
telescope maker. The folks will start with "wings of bat" if they
thought it would help. Their current favourites are always different
than last years and they are carefully tested.
