I've checked out this page.
Here's what I found:
There are 3 modes on the processing box
Video Signal Processor: basically this let's you adjust color, contrast,
etc.
"Wow! Impressive!! Not!"
Mystic 3D: kind-of an image doubler, creating 2 images from a single
source
"er, whatever!- "
Real 3D: if you have encoded movies on videocassettes, then you get true
3D
"by the way, if you click the button to see what movies they
offer...there aren't any!!!!"
"Also the page keeps insisting on 'no loss in video quality at all'
If it's using LCD technology, isn't the field rate cut in half, which
accounts for the flicker?? I'd say that's is a loss in half my video
quality!!!
By the way, this thing sells for $799.00 w/ 2 LCD goggles!!!! Cha-ching!
At any rate, sounds like it'd be better to stick with a known company
like the "3D TV Corporation", "StereoGraphics Corporation", or "Vrex"
Incidently, the VRsurfer from Vrex ($150 w/ 2 goggles, demo video,
computer software) seems to give the best deal acording to a recent
issue of StereoWorld.
