You forgot to say that this is YOUR opinion :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Do you dispute the fact that 2d photography is more popular than 3d?  Do
you dispute the fact that print film is more popular than slide film?  
Look at expo2.  How many slide entries do we have vs. print entries?  Joel
can provide the numbers.  These are objective criteria.  It is not my
opinion.  Again, look at Bill Walton's efforts to make stereo prints more
acceptable in the stereo division of PSA, where stereo slides rule.  This
is a fact.  My opinion has to do with why I personally prefer slides, not
with how many stereo photographers shoot slides vs. prints.

I still don't see why this fact should influence any newbie when they can
try both and see what they like.
