I prefer X. I can parallel view up to the size of Holmes format prints,
but can cross view images many times as large, which is useful (for instance)
in taking the best advantage of the resolution available in a computer
display.

To merge this with our other current debate, has anybody tried to parallel-view
a slide with one eye while simultaneously cross-viewing a print with the
other eye, and compared this to the result of cross-viewing the slide and
simultaneously parallel-viewing the print?
