This is more of a problem in 1:1 reproductions of antique stereo pairs 
that have wider separations causing, freeviewing problems.

I just measured a few stereo pairs in Stereo World and saw that the 
borders were separated by 62 mm (for infinity points add 1-2 mm to this).
So, Grant has a point.  Perhaps 62 mm is in the high side???  What is
the standard for other publications?
